Group Size?
Altus staff have designed experiences for one: such as adaptive climbing for a student without the use of her legs, or a sea kayaking private lesson

Altus can also accommodate larger and longer experiences, and has designed and carried out multiple 21-day trips for a groups as large as 55.

We are interested in working with you, no matter the number of participants.

What will it cost?
Altus Adventures is committed to getting people into the outdoors and offering unique, life-changing experiences.  Please don’t let finances or a small budget stop you from contacting us.  We will happily work with you to design a program that stays within your budget.

What about safety?
Any adventure experience involves both actual and perceived risk.  Our staff carefully anticipate, identify, assess and adjust factors affecting real risk, keeping experiences within conservative boundaries.  At the same time, perceived risk and novel experiences are encouraged as these are fundamental to fun and growth in the outdoors.  However, should a situation arise, staff are trained and current in first aid, CPR, and rescue procedures.  During wilderness experiences there will always be a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) present to address emergency or injury situations.  In remote settings, Altus guides carry satellite phones.  Please feel free to contact Altus with any specific concerns and/or special needs.
